ABOUT THE DION GLOVER FOUNDATION

The Dion Glover Foundation is a non-profit organization estalished to provide youth aid and development.

The objective of this organization is to help provide instructional or financial assistance based upon a need to young people ages 14-25 (high school - college) with health challenges or who have experienced serious injuries.

Our founder, Minister Dion Glover (former NBA player) grants scholarships to at least 50 children each year to attend his annual basketball camp. This camp is an all day co-ed camp for up to 200 children ages 8-18. Not only is it an opportunity to improve their skills as athletes but also as proactive responsible members of the community. Working in small groups, the children receive instructions from qualified coaches and seasoned professional athletes. In addition to quality instructions, the children are fed hot lunches and snacks to help sustain their physical and mental stamina.

The entire net profit from the summer camps and other fundraisers become an annual scholarship awarded to students from the state of Georgia, who has lost the ability to compete at a sport or activity, due to an illness or accident.
Our survival depends directly on corporate and private donations. These funds are then distributed to individuals for educational, medical, and scientific purposes.

We have provided a variety of assistance in the past. Your support offers us the chance to continue with positive assistance and programs for our youth.
